    I was in a 10 minutes ride that cost me 8.5 or 9 dollars. On June 29 same ride I was charged 19.9 dollars. Their Uber app does not allow you to ask for a review of the matter. I feel it is an abusive company ripping off the desperate users. Besides they charge just for open their app.

    I was riding a commuter train that broke down. Another passenger and I agreed to split a ride sharing service. I always use Uber and had no reason to believe there would be an issue. I navigated to the split fare feature, saw the other passenger receive and accept the invitation. On my app, I could see his information. Imagine my surprise after the ride ended when I was charged the FULL AMOUNT!! After spending a great deal of time in the help menus in the app, I still could not understand what I did wrong. Leaving messages for customer support only resulted in canned messages telling me instructions on how to split fare during the ride and that the other person must accept it. WE DID THAT!! After spending THREE DAYS in online help chat, I finally received a phone call. It was there I was told ApplePay cannot be used to split a ride. How was I to know this? Had I known, I would have used a different payment method. Since I did everything right based on the information I was given, at the time, through the app, I feel I should get a partial refund, or Uber credit. I don’t want a full refund, but I think partial credit would be fair. Again, I was only met with canned responses. “Your feedback is important to us.” For a service based industry, their customer service is poor. As a customer, I have never felt so unimportant and unvalued. This experience has forever tainted my relationship with Uber. I had never even thought about using a different ride share company before this. Now, I feel I have no choice. The trust I had with Uber is no longer there.

    The worst taxi app ever. Driver cancelled the ride after I waited for half an hour which was the reason I missed my flight. On the other hand if client cancels a ride then it charges a fine. Another great feature of the app is that driver can accept a ride and just do nothing staying at one point or conduct rides from other taxi apps while client is waiting infinitely. And the only solution for a client in this case is to cancel a ride which means paying a fine.

    I have used uber for a time and after the latest update it's been crashing and I stopped using it due to that. I hope that it would be fixed.

    Used Uber for years. Requires masks for all? Embarrassing. No more Uber for me. Worst part is that the drivers in non virtue signaling areas will be hurt the worst.
